Eric in the Evening first airs on WGBH radio.

Hosted by Eric Jackson, it runs for two hours on weeknight and Sunday evenings. When it is cut back to weekends in 2012, fans protest by holding a “jazz funeral” outside the station. The program continues until Jackson’s death in 2022.
